This time around, I didn’t have as much weight loss as the last time I did this. Starting weight 213, ending weight 203. I did nix about 3% of body fat as well, so this wasn’t a total bust.
I still have three days of this fasting period that are OMAD (One Meal a Day) before it officially ends, so I will probably weigh myself again come Monday morning to see if there was any additional change in my weight.
Overall, I feel good though I am starving of course. I have gotten through all my workouts with no issue at all, so that was also a good thing.
Next step is to go 100% carnivore for about 4 months till I turn 52 in June. The goal is to use this to get my body fat down to around 10 – 12%. Once I have gotten to my birthday, I will then go back to doing keto and concentrating on a more low carb but definitely re-introducing carbs at least the good ones. I honestly don’t see carnivore as being 100% sustainable for the long term, though I likely could do it, but I am more concerned with the potential nutrients lost to not having carbs and what that could do to my system.
The weather here has been all over the place but mostly just cold and a couple of more snow storms during the last week, the one over the weekend was pretty lame and we got another 3 inches the other day but again still not much of a storm. We are supposed to get more snow this weekend again. I can say this: I am now officially tired of the snow and just cold weather all around. It is time to move somewhere that is more warm all the time. Not sure where that will be, but it is going to have to happen at some point.
Still working towards getting things off the ground with my online personal training business and will also add a 1-on-1 thing to it as well since I can train people out of my home because of having my basement gym, but that has been slow as my full-time gig impedes that. I also have had little time to get in any writing, as evidenced by the fact I am just now posting here again. At some point I have to get both going because we need to earn some extra cash and the sooner the better. Right now we are probably down about 6K in losses over the course of the last 10+ months from the wife not getting in her extra drills with the guard, which is leaving us at a point where some things are getting behind. Gotta figure something out to make that stuff somewhere. I am sure that at some point I will get things figured out and make up those losses and turn them into future gains.
